Longest High-Speed Rail Network in the World

China's high-speed rail network had grown to roughly 48,000-50,000 km of track by the mid-2020s, more than the rest of the world's high-speed lines combined. Built up almost entirely since its first line opened in 2008, it is by a wide margin the largest such network on the planet.
