Tallest Building in China, Among the Tallest Worldwide

Completed in 2015, the 632-meter Shanghai Tower is the tallest building in China and has ranked among the two or three tallest buildings in the world since its completion, behind only the Burj Khalifa and, more recently, Merdeka 118 in Malaysia. Its twisting, cylindrical glass facade was engineered in part to reduce wind loads on the 128-story skyscraper.
