An official crowd of 199,854 packed Rio de Janeiro's Maracana Stadium for the deciding match of the 1950 FIFA World Cup, a figure Guinness World Records still lists as the largest attendance ever recorded at a football World Cup game. Uruguay won the match 2-1, an upset Brazilians still call the "Maracanazo."
