Record Description
Over a 20-season career that ended in 1999, Edmonton-born Wayne Gretzky amassed 2,857 regular-season points, a combined goals-and-assists total no other NHL player has come close to matching. His career-assists and single-season-points records also remain unbroken, even after Alex Ovechkin passed his career goals total in 2025.
