A team of Italian chefs baked a gluten-free pizza named "Ottavia" covering more than 1,260 square metres in Rome in December 2012, earning the Guinness World Record for the largest pizza ever made. The pizza required tonnes of dough, tomato sauce, and mozzarella spread across a purpose-built surface.
