Record Description
In Valencia on March 8, 1992, a team led by Juan Carlos Galbis cooked a single paella weighing about 27,215 kilograms, using 5,000 kilograms of rice, 6,200 kilograms of chicken and 1,000 liters of olive oil among its ingredients. Guinness World Records still lists it as the largest paella ever made, and it reportedly fed more than 100,000 people.
