Most Goals in a 38-Game Premier League Season (at the time)

In his debut season at Liverpool, Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah scored 32 league goals in 38 games during the 2017-18 Premier League campaign, a tally that broke the competition's single-season scoring record for a 38-match schedule. Erling Haaland later surpassed the mark with 36 goals in 2022-23, so Salah's total is no longer the outright record.
