Second-Largest Film Industry in the World by Output

Nigeria's film industry, known as Nollywood, produces on the order of 2,500 films a year, a volume of output that trails only India's Bollywood and exceeds Hollywood's annual film count. It reaches that scale despite typical production budgets of only tens of thousands of dollars per film.
