Only National Park Within a Capital City

Established in 1946 just a few kilometers from downtown Nairobi, Nairobi National Park is the only protected big-game wildlife park located entirely within the boundaries of a national capital city. It is home to lions, rhinos, giraffes and other large mammals living against a backdrop of the city skyline.
