World's Largest Individual Flower

Rafflesia, a parasitic plant found in the rainforests of Malaysian Borneo, produces the largest single flowers of any plant on Earth, with blooms of some species reaching up to about 80 to 100 centimeters across. The flower takes roughly nine months to develop but stays open for only about a week before decaying.
