Record Description

Iranian grandmaster Ehsan Ghaem-Maghami played 604 chess games at once over more than 25 hours in Tehran, winning 580, drawing 16 and losing only 8. The performance gave him a win rate above 97 percent and set a Guinness World Record for the most opponents faced simultaneously in chess. He surpassed a mark previously held by an Israeli player.
