Record Description
The East Bridge of Denmark's Great Belt fixed link, opened in 1998, has a main suspension span of about 1,624 meters, which ranked among the longest in the world at the time and remains one of the longest outside Asia. The crossing connects the Danish islands of Zealand and Funen.
