World's Largest Diamond Trading Center

The city of Antwerp handles an estimated 80 percent of the world's rough diamonds as they pass through its diamond district, making it the largest diamond trading hub on the planet. The trade has been centered there for centuries, supported by a dense cluster of cutters, polishers, and dealers concentrated around a few city blocks. The Antwerp World Diamond Centre now oversees and promotes the industry.
