Kalinago Territory, home to the Caribbean's largest surviving Indigenous Kalinago population

Established as the Carib Reserve by the British colonial government in 1903 and renamed Kalinago Territory in 2015, this roughly 3,700-acre area on Dominica's east coast hosts the largest remaining community of pre-Columbian Kalinago (Carib) descendants in the Caribbean.
